Guest speaker Senior Agriculture Advisor – Livestock, Matthew Lieschke from the South East Local Land Services will present about the demonstration trials in high grazing landscapes near Crookwell in the Southern Tablelands.
The projects have been investigating soil nutrition (using a nutrient subtractive trial) and a grazing management demonstration on pastures and animal production.
The project has been looking at the effect of applying fertiliser (single superphosphate) and lime on stocking rates and overall farm profitability (using a fully-costed economic analysis), soil fertility and pH, pasture composition and soil carbon levels.
