Bathurst Women in Productive Pastures and Landscape
Central Tablelands Local Land Services invites agricultural women in the Bathurst area to the next womens’ get together. The event will cover understanding the Endangered Purple Copper Butterfly and its habitat, networking opportunities and hear from a guest speak on mental health.
10.30am Meet at Corner of Hampton Road and Cheetham Flat Rd (across from 1254 Hampton Rd) at the TSR, Rydal. We will hear from experts on the Purple Copper Butterfly, its habitat and (hopefully) see the butterflies.
12.00pm Travel to Rydal Showgrounds for lunch
12.30pm Associate Professor Dr John Dearin from University of Notre Dame Australia will discuss with us the importance of mental health especially during our current seasonal conditions.
Lunch is provided but please bring a plate to share in the paddock, a small blanket and jacket (if the day is cold) sturdy shoes, hat, water and your own mug for a cuppa. Don't forget your camera!
If you have neighbours, relatives or know of other women in the Bathurst area that might like to come along they are more than welcome.
RSVP by Monday 17 September
Please ensure your vehicle, boots and clothes are free of soil/manure.
