NRM Community Advisory Group members

Hunter White (Chair) is a farmer from Mudgee and treasurer of Watershed Landcare. Hunter has a personal focus in sustainable agriculture and is keen to offer advice and mentoring to the Central Tablelands Local Land Services Board to help influence Local Land Services decisions.

Andrew Kennedy (Deputy Chair) has a family grazing property at Waldegrave, south of Orange. Waldegrave is part of the Cadia Mine District Enhancement Project. Andrew previously worked for the Department of Primary Industries as a technical specialist in sustainable agriculture and natural resource management. Currently a member of the Orange City Council environmental community consultative committee and the National Parks & Wildlife Service Western Rivers Regional Advisory Committee. Andrew would like to form links between Local Land Services, the groups he is involved with and the Agricultural Industry Advisory Group.

Dr Cilla Kinross is Adjunct Lecturer in Environmental Management at Charles Sturt University. Dr Kinross is involved in landcare and several environmental groups, including Central West Environment Council, Nature Conservation Council Executive and the Canobolas Zone Bushfire Management Committee. Her background is improving wildlife habitat (especially bats and birds) in agricultural areas. Dr Kinross has extensive work and teaching experience in natural resource management and aims to help Local Land Services focus on biodiversity, bush fire management and the environment while feeding information from Local Land Services back to the groups she is involved with.

Lis Arundell works with Macquarie Valley Weeds Advisory Committee, which is a network of councils, Local Land Services and Crown Lands who, together with the new Central Tablelands Regional Weed Committee, aim to improve weed management in the region. Lis has worked in the mineral resources, environment and government sectors and she and her husband run a small, sustainable farm at Springside, south of Orange. Lis sees community engagement and education as key to improving NRM in the region.

Scott Hickman is a farmer from near Canowindra (mixed farming) and a member of Mid Lachlan Landcare. Scott has a passion for profitable, regenerative agriculture and improving landcare through the use of animals. Scott would like to see mainstream agriculture incorporated in natural resource management and continued support for Landcare into the future.

Cameron Wild, a small area farmer, past wool broker and currently secretary to Central Tablelands Landcare, he has an Advanced Diploma of Agribusiness, a Diploma of Conservation & Land Management and a Permaculture Design Certificate. Cameron would like to ensure Local Land Services considers conservation and regenerative agriculture.

Tamara Harris is a member of the Belgravia Landcare group and previously worked for Little River Landcare. Tamara has 15 years experience in Landcare groups and agriculture training and is very interested in holistic management and the link between agriculture and natural resource management.
